Works Deluxe

Your customers will receive a carry-on bag (up to 7kgs) and one checked bag (up to 23kgs), you can request a seat for them and they will enjoy a complimentary in-flight meal and drinks. They can also order extra drinks, free of charge, from their seat.

In addition they will receive: Premium check-in, 1 additional priority checked-in bag (up to 23kg each), and access to our award-winning Lounges before the flight.

With our Works Deluxe product passengers will receive lounge access when departing from airports where Air New Zealand has an airport lounge.  Passengers will also have access to the Qantas lounge when departing from Adelaide and Perth. There is no lounge access in Cairns, Sunshine Coast or the Gold Coast.
 If travelling via an indirect route lounge access is not available in the transit airport. eg Auckland --> Brisbane --> Cairns, lounge access is available in Auckland only, not Brisbane.
 If travelling from a regional New Zealand airport lounge access is available when transiting in New Zealand.
eg Dunedin --> Christchurch --> Brisbane, lounge access is available in both Dunedin and Christchurch.

They will be entertained with movies, games, music and TV shows through our gate-to-gate, seat-back entertainment.

If travelling with kids, a Kids Meal can be requested at the time of booking, which comes with an activity pack.

In the air, they will be treated to some extra personal space - great if they wish to work or stretch out, a daily newspaper, cheese platter, water bottle and noise cancelling headset

Works Deluxe is our top product choice on our A320 aircraft. If you're flying on our 767, 747 or 777 aircraft, Business Class and Works Deluxe will be available.

Note: Works Deluxe is not available to be purchased on NZ7000 series flights

Air NZ offers a maximum of 8 Works Deluxe seats on A320's, but will allow more on other aircraft types - this is to ensure passengers are seated at the front of the aircraft. At time of ticketing a 'fare quote over-ride' is required to purchase a Works Deluxe seat, however if 8 are already sold, an error message of 'INVALID FARE BASIS' will be generated.

Booking classes which relate to this product are the same as The Works: S, L, T, W, V, Q, H, M, B, Y. As the cheapest fare will always quote in the GDS (which is The Works), the Works Deluxe fares will not auto quote. A fare over-ride is required refer below for your GDS entries.
