Name Correction Policy

GDS Bookings

A $50.00 fee will apply to name corrections permitted for the following reasons.

• Spelling error correction (e.g. John to Johns, Blogs to Bloggs).
• Change to a maiden or married name or v.v. (documentation will be required).
• Change to a first name from a commonly used name (e.g. Rob to Robert, Tom to Thomas).
• Change from middle name to first name or v.v. (documentation will be required).

Follow the name correction process for each GDS, Amadeus, Galileo and Sabre.

The fee is to be collected at the time of reissue as a YR tax. Non collection of the fee will result in an ADM for $75.00.

Web Bookings

Name corrections for online PNR's are actioned by our Contact Centre on 0800 737 000. The $50.00 fee will apply to name corrections permitted for the following reasons:

• Change to a maiden or married name or v.v. (documentation will be required).
• Change to a first name from a commonly used name (e.g. Rob to Robert, Tom to Thomas).
• Change from middle name to first name or v.v. (documentation will be required).

Interline E-tickets

Name corrections are not permitted on Interline E-tickets and Code Share flights for GDS and WEB bookings. These need to be refunded less $50.00 name correction fee and rebooked at best available fare.

Name correction fee will not apply for the following:

• Customers paying a full Business fare ( C ) full Pacific Premium fare ( U ) and full Economy fare ( Y )
• Unticketed booking
