Amadeus Name Correction Process

A name correction fee of NZD50.00 per ET applies for ticketed PNR'S.

When an infant name correction is required, follow the Amadeus Infant Name Correction Process.

Original PNR

To help us assist with the name correction please action the following:

  • Do not cancel the original PNR
  • If you have more than one passenger in the PNR please divide
  • Remove all SSR'S from the divided booking in the incorrect name

Create a new open dated PNR in the correct name

Irrespective of the number of sectors in the original PNR, only one sector is required for the new open dated PNR.

  • Correct name of the passenger

To create an open dated PNR in Amadeus add a miscellaneous segment.

  • RU1AHK1AKL28APR/PNR FOR NAME CHANGE/P1
  • AKL - represents the city the PNR was located in (i.e. if you are located in IVC then insert IVC instead)
    28APR - represents the date of departure of the first sector (i.e. amend according to your PNR )
  • ER

When the above has been completed send Agency Sales Support an email with:

  • Copy of the OPEN DATED PNR highlighting the Amadeus PNR
  • Copy of the original PNR in the incorrect name

We require documentation to verify the name correction, e.g. Marriage Certificate, Passport, Drivers Licence or similar proof so that we can determine that it is the same passenger travelling.

We will confirm by email once the name correction has been actioned.
