Always ensure your customer's NZ ET reflects the confirmed flights held. If your customer's flights change, then update the ET by either revalidating or reissuing, this will ensure a seamless check in experience.
ET Name Fields
- Name Field must match the legal name in the passport
- Duplicate name fields are not permitted, i.e. 2BROWN/A MR/A MR. Therefore you must identify your passengers by their full first name. If they are identical include the second name initial. (It will allow you to issue the ticket but you will not be able to make any subsequent changes!)
ET Booking/Ticketing Rules
- Only one journey per person per PNR
- A maximum of 16 sectors including ARUNKS are permitted on an ET
- A maximum of 4 conjunction tickets permitted (1 prime document plus 3 conjunction)
- Passive bookings can be issued on an ET
- Open dated coupons are not permitted, a paper ticket will be required.
- A maximum of 9 e-tickets can be issued in a single transaction, with the exception of Group bookings authorised by the Agency Groups team.
- When dividing a PNR with an ET database, wait until you receive the new NZ Reloc prior to making any changes to the PNR or ET.
Interline ET Rules
- Revalidations are NOT permitted
- All changes require a reissue of the ET
- Name Correction are not permitted
- Open dated tickets not permitted
- At present interline infant ET is not available on all NZ interline partners, where a paper ticket is required, issue electronic tickets for all accompanying passengers first in the same PNR, before requesting a paper ticket for the infant.
