ET for Infants

Air New Zealand has a well developed infant ET capability and you will be able to fulfil almost all of your customer's requirements on an NZ (086) ET.

This includes itineraries containing travel on our interline partners. There are a diminishing number of instances where it's not possible to issue an infant ET.

Where infant e-ticket functionality is not yet possible, Air New Zealand has set up an interim process to issue paper tickets on an agent's behalf.

Our Quick Reference Flow Chart will further explain various ticketing scenarios and situations where an e-ticket can or can't be issued.

Ticketing Infants prior to being born

If the infant has not been born at the time of issuing the adults tickets we recommend issuing tickets for the adults, and ticketing the infant once it has been born based on current fare levels at time of issuing the ticket.
