Rebooking Disrupted Passengers

If the disrupt affects a number of services and airports, your customer may be advised by our Airport staff to contact their Travel Agent or our Contact Centre for assistance.

Rebook for Same Day Travel

  • Rebook/reroute on a suitable flight as per the ticketed fare.
  • Rebook in the same or best available class in the same cabin i.e. economy to economy class.
  • Reroute to another common rated destination, if  flying AKL/WLG, if WLG is closed rebook into PMR.
  • Avoidable disrupt International only - endorse to another carrier, contact Agency Sales Support to discuss options.

Electronic Ticket

If rebooking in a different class (NZ only) to the original booking a reissue will be required. Reissue the ET with no additional collection (NO ADC) and show 'REISSUE DUE DISRPT WLG 03 DEC' in the endorsements box.

Note: The ticket MUST be reissued/revalidated to enable the Airport to see the passengers ET database when they check in, preventing delays and inconvenience.

Interline ET

Revals are not possible, a reissue will be required.

Wholesale/Nett Tickets

If the ticket was issued by a consolidator or wholesaler they will be able to assist with the reissue (as the original issuing agent they have access to the ET database).
