Air New Zealand's automated 'Revenue Management System' distributes capacity to various classes in order to maximise the best revenue opportunities.

At peak times when travel demand is high, alternative options may need to be explored. These options could range from:-

  • Flexibility with dates
  • Routings options, ie via the EH or AP
  • Transfer points
  • Alternatives fares, ie Four Corners, Star
  • Upselling sectors to Premium Economy or Business
  • Interline carriage
