1. Eligibility
A person who is the sole proprietor, partner, director and/or a full-time travel consultant working for an IATA or accredited Agency for at least 12 months and is directly involved in the selling and promotion of Air New Zealand for a minimum of 75% of their day. Full eligibility details are published as Resolution 880 in the IATA Travel Agents Handbook.

- Agent Discount travel is not permitted in Pacific Premium Economy and Business Premier / Business Class cabins
Notes:
- Couples must travel together from point of origin to the point of turnaround as a minimum.
- For the purpose of this policy a long term partner is defined as 12 months or more. Proof of this will be required.
- " All entitlements are subject to close-outs that may occur from time-to-time and are at the discretion of Air New Zealand.
- Annual entitlement is based on calendar year.
3. Procedures
Domestic & Pacific Economy Bookings
- For positive travel in economy class book your own flights in N class. If N class is not available, travel will be on a sub-load basis only.
- Bookings are not to be permitted earlier than 28 days prior to travel.
- For sub-load travel no confirmed reservation is to be held. The Airline can register you on the requested flights and a seat will be allocated at the time of check-in if available.
Application
- International - Complete a 'Reduced Fare Transportation Resolution 880 Application Form'.
- Domestic - Complete a 'Domestic AD Travel Application Form'.
- Application forms must be signed by the office manager.
- Ensure the Air New Zealand PNR reference is visible on the application form. (AD50 firm only).
- This application form, accompanied by a photocopy of your 'IATA Travel Agent Identification Card' is to be faxed to Air New Zealand (09 336 2756) or emailed to partner.services@airnz.co.nz for approval.
- Applications must be received at least four working days prior to departure to be considered for approval.
Approval
- Applications may be held until three days before departure until they are approved. If approved an authorisation number will be noted on your application form or an 'AD Approval Form' will be faxed/emailed back to you for ticketing.
- If the application is not approved you will be advised accordingly by fax/email.
- Once approved, the booking is converted into an Agents Discount booking and any changes made from this point on are subject to re-approval and can only be made by Air New Zealand.
- Changes made through a GDS will not generate to Air New Zealand.

Notes
- Any subsequent changes will render your Agents Discount invalid and a new approval is required. Please contact partner.services@airnz.co.nz for a new approval before you attempt to change travel.
- No commission is payable on rebated travel.
- Agents Rebated Tickets are valid for three months from the date of ticketing.
- PTA's are not permitted.
- Travel must be booked on NZ metal only
5. Fares
All domestic agent discounts are based on full economy fares plus GST and any other applicable charges. To obtain an accurate price, fare quote the booking as per the ticketing instructions above.

Taxes are required to be paid on agents discount tickets as per normal fare paying customers.
To calculate the agents discount level, deduct the applicable discount from the published fare, e.g. for travel.
AKL/LAX/AKL, if the YAM1Y level is $4,050.00, to calculate an AD75 deduct 75% from $4,050.00 giving an agents discount level of $1,012.50 then add any applicable taxes, levies and surcharges.
6. General Conditions to Note
- All governing conditions as per IATA Resolution 880 apply.
- Your IATA Travel Agents Identification Card must be presented at check-in.
- When travelling on non-subload or subload tickets any general onboard service failures e.g. nil meal delivery / no choice or IFE failure etc. compensation will not be an option.
- Agents Rebate Travel is a privilege and the requirements of commercial revenue passengers take precedence in all instances of sub-load and positive travel. It is possible you could be offloaded due to commercial demand and if this happens:
- Go to the Air New Zealand service desk or call the local Air New Zealand reservations office if the desk is unstaffed;
- Identify yourself as travelling on an Industry rebate ticket , and
- Ask to be listed on the next available flight.
- Remember, you will have to make your own arrangements for accommodation and meals until you get onto a flight. Air New Zealand can not be held responsible for these delays or associated expenses.
- Agents Rebate tickets do not earn Airpoints.
- Koru Club members travelling on rebated travel tickets are not entitled to pre-seating.
